Expedition / Africa / Senegal
We spent a full week in Senegal with our families for Christmas. After more than 3 months of traveling, this meeting is the closing chapter of our African adventure. We stayed in a comfy hotel on the coast, 100km south of the capital Dakar.
It took us more than 3 days to travel from Mali to Senegal by train, such an adventure. We thought we would never arrive and get in time to meet the family!!
During this week we vivited the fishing village of M'Bour, its huge market and fishing 'harbour'. The Saloum area, the Goree Island where hundred of thousands slaves were sold to America, Dakar the capital, and finally the Fadiouth Island. We also spent some relaxing time at the hotel, on the beach or at the swimming pool, reading, playing, eating and sharing quality time with the family!!!
